According to the words of Sándor Márai, a famous Hungarian writer and journalist: “the essence of a house doesn’t stem from the pieces of furniture but from the feeling that captures the people there.” We established A HÁZ in the sense of Márai’s words as a family business.
Everybody and everything has its own role and place here. We thought a lot about how we should describe ourselves. That we do everything in passion? Our uniquely designed rooms are enhanced with premium quality materials? The elegant design provides a feeling of the Scandinavian lifestyle? Or the blending of the rustic and antique furniture and the modern style breathes life into our rooms?

We are located in the center of the triangle of the Bükk mountains, the Diósgyőr Castle and the Diósgyőr neighborhood. It is the perfect place for those who would like to feel the closeness of nature but are interested in the city center as well. Our garden is the perfect spot for admiring the beauty of the Bükk mountains and the memorable towers of the castle.
The design of our rooms reflects excellence, comfort, and elegance. The rustic and original outlook makes our rooms unique. All of our antique furniture pieces were purchased at one time and were revived by our own hands.
